Where We Came From
BridgePointe was founded in 2004 as a church plant in Woodstock, Georgia. What began as a small group of people who loved Jesus and cared deeply about this community has become a church family rooted in historic Christian faith and committed to following Jesus faithfully in our time.
From the beginning, BridgePointe was built on a simple desire: to be a place where people could grow in their faith and experience real community.

A New Season
In 2015, Matt became Lead Pastor, and BridgePointe entered a season marked by both steady momentum and long-term stability.
Since then, we’ve moved into our current location near downtown Woodstock and continued growing as a church family rooted in Scripture and centered on Jesus.
During this season, our focus has become increasingly clear: spiritual formation — helping people not just believe in Jesus, but become like Him.
Today, BridgePointe continues to grow steadily as a church family committed to faithful teaching, honest questions, and authentic community.

We are a church family where being known matters. We believe depth matters more than hype, formation matters more than flash, and faithfulness matters more than trends.
Our teaching is rooted in Scripture and shaped by the larger story of God — from creation to new creation. Following Jesus involves both thoughtful engagement and surrendered obedience.
We make space for questions. We pursue spiritual growth. And we believe the local church should be a preview of God’s coming renewal — a community marked by grace, truth, and love.

Most of our church family lives within a few miles of downtown Woodstock. We care deeply about this community.

BridgePointe’s story is still being written.
We believe God is forming a people who reflect His character and live under the reign of Jesus. Our future is not defined by size or trends, but by faithfulness — teaching the Scriptures clearly, loving one another well, and participating in God’s renewal of all things.
